Can't make it past opening cutscene

Just bought the game but have yet to play it because my game keeps crashing once the opening scene is finished. Does anybody know a solution to this problem? I have a 6650xt idk if that might be the reason why.

"Intel HD graphics Bypass package" on Mod Nexus fixed it for me. Or you can downgrade your AMD drivers.

Many posts in this discussion have mentioned that there is a bug in the latest AMD drivers and downgrading your AMD drivers can fix it. Usually the crash happens after the intro video and when you load into the game.

An 23.x.x version driver should fix the issue.
You could also use a mod called DXVK which will run the game in vulkan instead of Direct X9 but you need to run the game in windowed mode because it will lag in fullscreen. Using a mod called onetweak can remove the windowed borders, so it will be windowed borderless.

People on the AMD fourms have had success doing either fix.

same here AMD 5500XT with 24.XXX drivers. I see there is a newer 24.XXX version, gonna try this

nope latest version still crash to desktop after video.
