4GB Patch not working.

when both NVSE and 4GB Patch are downloaded, 4GB patch will not effect the game on startup & instead prompts me to click on the .EXE in my files as if i'm setting it up for the first time. But it doesn't do anything even if i do run it again.

please help.

put the 4GB patcher .exe in the FNV folder along with the FNV .exe
run the patcher .exe

i forgot to mention that i had previously dragged the patch into the FNV folder. It should be working but it doesn't while i have NVSE in there too.

if you ran the patcher correctly you should see (in your Fallout New Vegas Folder) FalloutNV_backup.exe and your normal FalloutNV.exe should be like 16,000 kb (mine is 16,162 kb)

yeah it's there, when i open the backup it gives me an application load error though.
