problem whit "EVE - Essential Visual Enhancements" mod

I'm having problems with this mod, the game crashes on the gunfight that happens in the van graff silver rush store, I found out that this is the mod that affects when the gunfight starts and there are a lot of lazers firing. The game also crashes if the shooting starts in the street and all the vam graff comes out shooting.


Is there a patch to optimize this mod? Maybe it's because the screen is overloaded with effects. but I'm not sure because the fps don't drop much. only if I deactivate the mod does the game work correctly

I don't understand. but how can I replace what this mod does? especially the textures of the laser weapons with scopes... I have been trying many mods, or at least the ones that are recommended and they don't work for me, some add textures but remove the scopes, others add scopes but break the way of aiming with the laser gun or the rifle and some other textures.... what combination do you recommend for laser weapons then?

i was using EVE, until i uninstalled it due to it being incompatible with some of the 1st person animation mods i'm currently using.

it was working really fine with no crashes (was using EVE with 360-ish mods at the time before uninstalling it), so i'm not really sure what's causing your crashing problem with EVE.

tho i want to check one thing, how did you install the mod?
through MO2 or manually?
if you're using MO2, use the second download option on the EVE page (Alternate version). the first option is not compatible with MO2.

as for alternatives, maybe you want to use the mods that i use atm to (kind of) replace EVE. here they are:

Improved Lighting Shaders[www.nexusmods.com]

but the laser guns had the aiming mode broken, the gun completely covers the screen

Also the problem it has is that it does not improve the textures of the weapons, and when I put a mod like this: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/76606

ahhh... that's just because that mod is not compatible with anything that changes the textures and meshes of laser weapons (plasma too if you're planning to use the plasma iron sights).

the mod page literally said that too. here's what they said;
"This mod is incompatible with:
Mods that change the models of the weapons this mod edits
Mods that change the textures of the weapons this mod edits
Mods that add attachments to the weapons this mod edits"

so ye, quite unfortunate, but oh well... cant really do anything about it.

that is exactly the same reason why i uninstalled EVE. i dont really know what's causing that on your end, maybe try to check your gun animation mods too? (if you have any)
