The constant crashing is getting to much to bear..

Game keeps crashing constantly cause of bethesdas ♥♥♥♥♥♥ engine is there like an open nv out there like what morrowind has?

Install xNVSE, 4gb Patcher, and NVTF and say goodbye to 99% of crashes

if you have an AMD card apparently there is an issue with the latest drivers - so if you can roll them back that may help

others have had some success with setting the game to run using DX11 instead of DX12 (is a startup parameter, --use-d3d11)

Anti-crash makes the game crash. Follow the vivanewvegas guide, and ignore ANY AND ALL suggestions to install anything else.

If you're able to describe what your issue is when and how it happens, and maybe some of your system specs and mods being used someone might be able to point you in the right direction hope you get something working

New Vegas Anti Crash (NVAC) is deprecated and not recommended for a stable experience. It's been superseded by New Vegas Tick Fix (NVTF), Yukichigai's Unofficial Patch (YUP), and lStewieAI's Engine Fixes and Tweaks. Similarly, avoid Project Nevada and obtain equivalent modules a la carte, e.g. JAM (Just Assorted Mods).

if you put the time for installing NVSE, 4GB patcher, and NVTF and maybe use DXVK for not having to crash when you alt-tab. it becomes super stable and you wouldnt have to worry about crashing

it's worth noting that in addition to RANDOM occasional crashes. that the game has a couple items especially in the DLC that you wanna get rid of ASAP because some items for some reason cause the game to crash when you fast travel. like for example in Old World Blues some of "dried plants" used to give to the "seed farm guy" these can cause the game to crash when you fast travel. but the second you get rid of them by talking to guy and getting rid of them their no longer an issue. this seems to be kind of rare as it's only very specific items that for some reason crash the game. but yes there are definitely mods and stuff to plug into the game to reduce or even eliminate a good majority of the crashes

thanks i have been playing for like a few hours and only crashed once. i crashed 10 times in the span of an hour before...
