What headwear can I combine with a Riot Gear Helmet?

The Fallout wiki says you can wear hats and berets with the riot gear helmet variants but the only headwear I can find that does this is the radii and tri-radii hat, and the space suit helmet. So what can I actually wear with a riot gear helmet?

The first recon beret that Boone gives you after doing his quest to get him as a companion should work, which has some potent bonuses on it.

There's also a generic NCR beret, which a handful of NCR officers wear, but it doesn't have any bonuses on it last I checked.

1st recon is the only one worth using.

Doesn't seem to be working for me for some reason. Don't know why. Tried it with regular, advanced, and Elite

Well it's more of an exploit to min-max anyways so the 1st Recon Beret you get from "One For My Baby" is pretty much the only one worth it

It's a very clippy interaction, can't really "fashion" with it

But iirc the Firefighter Helmet can be layered into the Riot Headgear, though it's pointless
