this game is bad till you get to the strip
this game sucks ass if your only doing main story quests and you haven't gotten to the strip, then it turns into one of the best games i've ever played 8.5/10

Thats because the magic of this game comes from the exploration and doing side quests the main story serves more to tie the world together def try doing some side quests and meet all the cool companions! (Truth is, The game was rigged from the start)

Yeah it does now that it's mentioned. For me Fallout New Vegas is an underdog. It definitely has potential be a great game. Just a shame that the devs or company or who it was that made the game didn't spend a little more time on the game itself.

I'm sure they would've spend more time on it if they had more than 18 months to develop this.

I wouldn't be as extreme as you but the side content in the desert is very much needed to flesh out the lore and storytelling. I couldn't even imagine myself just following the road around to the strip. So much content lost if you do that.

This game is bad(not as good) after you get to the strip. I try to prolong going to vegas at all for as long as I can, because I always start losing interest once I reach the mid-game. It's much more enjoyable going around doing the sidequests as a nobody simulator.

you're also forgetting it had to run on PS3 and XB360 and PCs of, shall we say, less than "enthusiast" setups... you understand a PS3 was a fancy calculator, right? Cell processor with 256M RAM and 256M VRAM... a lot of the emptiness isn't a limitation of the engine but what could be handled simultaneously at the time. under a very aggressive development cycle. That's why we love mods. :possession:
