Am I a bad person for always killing Oliver Swanick?

I don't have any particular reason for killing him, I just always do. It's something I've done on literally every playthrough, even way back in 2010 when I played this on the Xbox 360 (side note: Realizing the 360 and PS3 are now considered 'retro' makes me feel old as hell).

The fact that he doesn't seem to have any empathy for the people who were crucified in Nipton shows that he has no soul. But I don't kill him, though. Waste of ammo, that is. Letting him go turns him into fodder for either radscorpions, or the Jackal gang-members that sometimes show up at the Nipton Road pit stop.

I dont like him, sometimes I kill him, sometimes I dont. But at that point, the fact he doesnt show empathy for the horribly tortured people doesnt prove anything. I mean, he is likely powder ganger "scum" with doubtful principles but at that moment he is ecstatic because he isnt going to suffer the same horrible fate he has been witnessing for others.
