Where's Chet?

He's only in his shop late at night to sleep. Where does he go during the day? I think i checked every house in Goodsprings....

He's never in there during the day, he spawns around 10:20pm. I watch from the inside, he comes right in threw the door. From 9:30 till 10:20, I watched from the outside, NOTHING!

I walk inside, its 10:27pm, there he is.

A bug on my end? I can't think of ever seeing him during the day. I came from PS3/360 and don't remember if this happened back then. I've only played New Vegas on PC, off and on since 2020, and mostly vanilla, until very recently. So the whole deal for New Vegas on PC, is still foreign to me.

Chet sucks, but I sided with The Powder Ganger's and have the discount from him. Depending on which direction I'm going, I either stop and get a drink from Goodsprings Source or Lake Las Vegas, so i'll always be passing threw.

He is definitely there during the day, the very first thing I do when I start a new game is sell some of the DLC items to Chet. He never leaves his store, ever.

Chet spawns in his store, walks out the door, heads all the way to South Vegas Ruins. Then he stands there until 10pm, and heads back to Goodsprings.

Those are his ashes. I guess the Fiends kill him and he respawns?
