companion ranking

how do you guys rate the companions? for me in a best to worst order i have
1:boone because he aims so i don't have to
2:veronica because she carried me in the early game of my first play through
3:ED-E because having a flying thug destroyer is funny
4:joshua graham based thats why
5:christine and dog ok i guess
6:arcade only up here because of the gannon family power armor he gives
7:rex pretty useless but i still complete his quest because i like dogs
8:lily only good as a tank with a annoying quest
9:rose useless
10:raul ok but never stops complaining
11:follows chalk and waking cloud both equally boring and useless
12:dean just an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
13:Ulysses preachy mouthpiece

I don't care about their gameplay strengths I usually just have them tag along while doing their quests. ED-E is the only one that I keep with me at all times. My ranking is how long I usually keep them in my party.

2. Veronica
3. Boone
4. Raul
5. Rex

7. Cass
8. Lily

I love companions for their name sake, company
Over my time playing fnv I think having Cass and Veronica by my side was the most enjoyable for me. Cass is a tough cookie but has funny/sarcastic quips, she is also decent with various rifles and I like downing a whiskey bottle or 2 with her at the bar. Veronica is cute and has hilarious dialogue, Both her and Cass also have no where else to go, so they normally stay with me till the end.
The others well... Boone is like cass and a good brother in arms, but after his companion quest I let him return to protect novac.
Raul is a cool guy, but complains too much and kisses the couriers backside a lot. Better off living at his shack repairing stuff
Ed-e i keep with my house, use him to repair my kit and keep house clean, make ammo
Rex do quest then return to his rightful owner, also dont like having a dog running around in battle
Arcade also i feel would be better at the mormon fort helping people, he also complains a lot when entering combat or being given commands. He has a good story though
Lily nah i dont like super mutant companions. Lily is also just a bit boring for me.
Dog and Christine i brought to the Think Tank to save them from the sierra and rehabilitate them after DM.
and Ulysses I bury him 6ft under in the divide to end his poetic garbage

I don't use companions, they kill my edgy loner vibe. Also they make the game way too easy.

Easy mode tier: Cass, Boone, ED-E
Overpowered tier: Veronica, Arcade
Strong tier: Raul, Rex
No real reason to bring along tier: Lily
