rtx crash fix?

both this game and dragon age origins seem to have a bad habit of crashing i think it's because i have an rtx graphics card now. that's too high tech for these games. any idea on how to make them less crashy on newer hardware?

I have a old nvidia 3060ti. dragon age does not crash and this game does occasionally. maybe try monitor=60Hz and fps=60.
maybe the game cannot handle unlimited fps at high Hz on your 4xxx card.

check windows event viewer and also windows reliability history.
might be a game crash event or system related errors.

several users have mentioned viva new vegas mod for this game.

Don't know about DAO, but you'll really need to cap the FPS on this game to 60 or less if you want stability. That's not all you'll need to do, but that's the first thing you'll need to do.
