Stuck in 3rd person

Reinstalled Fallout NV to try out Fallout frontier but I have this weird problem. The game keeps defaulting to 3rd person. Yes I can still change views with F key or mouse scroll but when I use the PIp boy or go into VATS , after exiting it goes to the 3rd person view. How do i keep the game in first person. I only have the mods needed to play Frontier.

Did you remove all the files when you reinstalled? Ie make sure there's no fallout New Vegas folder left in steam apps and especially that there is nothing left in my documents falloutnv folder? Cus those can have residual files from your previous install that don't get removed when you uninstall.

Just wanted to report that it was New Vegas Reloaded that was causing the problem. There something called Camera mode enabled in the NewVegasReloaded.ini set to 1. Also don't use the experimental shaders from frontier. Use the standard ones from NVR. I had problems with a few of them.
