My screen keeps flashing like a strobe light

when ever i go onto new vegas the screen keeps fladhing constanlty and i dont know what to do.

You have 236 hours into the game, so maybe it's a mod causing it? What mod[s] have you added lately? Disable the ones that you last downloaded and start the game.

Aside from the addition of a mod or mods, what other changes have you made recently ?
Graphics card driver update, .ini tweak, Nvidia control panel or CCC changes etc. ?

well those 236 hours was on a different computer. i just dowloaded it onto my laptop
