How do you focus sniper rifle/hold breath?
I recently got my hands on a sniper scope for my laser rifle, and I want to try it out. One problem, it's shaky af. I'm pretty sure there's a way to hold your breath, to stop the shaking temporarily. Where is that, and is it even a mechanic?

If you don't meet the strength and energy skill requirements, you'll be shaky as ♥♥♥♥. You can take the chem Steady for a short, rocksteady aim. There's no breathing mechanic.

This isn't call of duty. Either you satisfy the gun's requirements, or you get shaky aim and terrible damage.

There are a few techniques that might help you steady your weapon when crouching; elbow on thigh and so on.

@OP: You could look into Project Nevada. It adds Bulletime mode.

It's some big fancy overhaul mod that adds some "modern" features (Sprinting, grenade hotkeys) to the game along with letting you tweak some gameplay settings.

Project Nevada?

It's a mod that exists for the explicit purpose of turning new Vegas into a terrible generic shooter.

Seriously, was that worth a 6-year necro?

On topic for the game - don't use PN. Use the functionality in Just Assorted Mods.

As if New Vegas even had good shooting to begin with.

I wonder why Bethesda vastly improved the gunplay for 4 and 76, among other shortcomings of 3 and New Vegas.
