Any mods for character creation?
It's so hard to make a nice looking character in this game because the sliders stick to eachother.. Had this same issue in Oblivion. Are there any mods out there that improve character customization so you can create a better looking character?

Not much. In fact, pretty much just Fallout Character Overhaul, which merely improves the look of characters, but doesn't really do much in the way of improving character creation.

You're better off using a mask or helmet to cover up the Courier's ugly mug.

That's too bad, was hoping after all this time, something would have come along.

Does the character overhaul impact performance any?

It should have little to no performance hit. Head meshes and textures are improved somewhat, but not with the goal to be ultra-HD. Rather than heightened graphical fidelity, it provides a different aesthetic.

Alright I'll try it out, thanks. I won't need to start a new game will I?

The author recommends a new save. I don't know what potential side-effects there might be from using it on an existing one though. You'd miss out on character creation at least.

You can make a pretty okay looking mid 30s year old white man with a crew cut.

Anything else is simply beyond gamebryo.

It's better to use equips to cover the face or whatnot.

Have fun turning black people into white people and vice Versa with the Overhaul mod.. It seems to not understand that a black body doesn't mean you top it off with a white head. >.<

I already got rid of the mod. It made Doc mitchell and Easy Pete look like zombies, that was enough to make me not like the mod.

That's not really a fault of the mod but of user error.

No, It's definately the mod. The only way it would be a 'user error' would be if I physically edited the ini for the npc generation, Which of course, I haven't.

If you're wanting to make a female character, check out the mod "Mojave Delight."
