Looking for specific mod suggestions
Hello,

I am using Vortex and have NVSE installed. I have been looking through Nexusmods.com already and would like to get some suggestions. I am looking for certain types of mods and appreciate any suggestions for these:

- Bug fixing mods (i.e. engine fixes, unofficial patches, etc.)
- User Interface mods (i.e. similar to SkyUI, etc.)
- Audio enhancements (higher fidelity, surround for headphones, etc.)
- Texture enhancements (higher resolutions, AI-enhanced textures, etc.)

Cheers!

First off, don't use Vortex. MO2 is recommended as it's a much cleaner way of managing things. Nexus obviously pushes their own solution, but it hasn't been the preferred option since... IIRC around the time Vortex replaced NMM.

Second, this guide will get you started: https://vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com/ . It will also suggest MO2.

Thanks, but I have been using Vortex for years now and I am happy with it. I am just looking for suggestions of the above mentioned mod types. If you have any please do let me know.

No because you have the stutter remover mod. It doesn't matter what else you have in that mod list if you're using the stutter remover you're not following Viva New Vegas, which you should be doing.

I mean, if you use Vortex as Mod Manager and worked good for you (I'm way worse as I use FOMM along with manual installing)...

But using Viva New Vegas with Vortex feels illegal. :lvl22bear:

One mod required it and it does not cause crashes with me so far. If it does will I drop it. Thanks for the advise.

No mod requires NVSR. If a mod says it requires NVSR it is made by an incompetent mod author.

FNV Large Texture Support lists it in its requirements. Do you know an alternative to this mod?

The FNV Large Texture Support Itself is required by "Charge's FNV HD Texture Packs".

Yeah the alternative is to follow Viva New Vegas and don't use charge's pack. I'm like 80% sure it's even specifically stated not to use that mod in the guide. The guide lists alternatives.

I am just going to ignore this then, because I like Charge's HD textures and opposite what the guide claims does the game not crash.
