In theory its probably easier to transfer your steam save game to the epic version and use it there.
However since its a very old game, transfering the DLCs to steam MIGHT work, if the game launcher (not steam) is just checking if there're (compatible) DLCs present in the directory tree by ignoring the DRM.
It probably won't work if FONV's DRM is still active and steam checks if you actually own the DLCs on steam before starting.
In that case DLCs will be either ignored, you get some Errors about a missing registration or registry entry, or the game might even chrash.
Try starting the game directly from the game directory without having steam being active.
If it doesn't start or if it opens steam then its DRM is still active and it probably won't work.
You might still try copying the DLC folders from epic to steam game files and see what happens.
But usually both game and DLC have to be from the same vendor in order to function.
I saw that TC said the EGS version is missing Honest hearts though, and maybe even one of the item packs as well, so it's not really worth it.
Hmm? There's a huge difference between a mod and a DLC, especially when games are DRM protected like they're on Both EGS AND Steam.
And a DLC is part of the game and is usually linked to your acount or the game id it has in your library.
Therfore games and DLCs from different stores are usually not compatible to each other.
There are some exceptions though so it might be worth a try.
That's not an EGS thing only. Same applies to steam
Not endorsing it because Steam probably wouldn't like it, but this is literally what pirates used to do, and part of the reason why mod authors used to not help people with non-steam versions of the game.
Game might not launch them natively, but if you launch through a mod manager, it should work just fine.
