I thought fallout "the frontier" was on steam.

Or going to be released, the frontier was OK id like to try it again hopefully a more finished and less crashy version. Did it get removed from steam, do i have to go through the hassle of installing again with a billion mods and steps to follow?

The Steam release was cancelled after the negative ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The project is completely dead at this point, and thanks to the "community", many of the talented modders who worked on it are no longer modding - so no, there won't be a Steam version in future either.

lol I remember the "inappropreate art" or whatever it was one of them posted and all that shiz happened. The mod itself was ok. It crashed ALOT and i didnt get to finish it because of the crashes. Oh and there was stuff in the game that set off some freaking SJWs so they had to remove it...

There was no inappropriate art in the mod itself - it was all private commissions done by the person who worked on some of the PipBoy icons.

It did crash a bit, but if your NV was properly set up, it was reasonably stable.

And no, it wasn't SJWs. tbh it was mostly people who are usually rampantly anti-SJW that killed it. It was mainly so-called "fans" of Fallout who, for some reason, thought that child slavery and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a deathclaw - in a game series with tons of child slavery and where you can ♥♥♥♥ a robot, become a pornstar, whatever you want - didn't fit in with "Fallout".

If they wrote lines like that to be purposely cringe then that makes it worse imo. From my perspective it seems their attempts at it were genuine. Which makes it all the more funnier to laugh at.

Just saying legally it would of gotten the game banned if that kind of stuff was in "Retail" NV. So trying to say it's acceptable to an extent is a joke. There is a reason Nexus pulled for example Children of the Waste from the platform and most affiliated mods.

There is absolutely NO WAY Frontier could legally be on Steam if it has things that can be literally considered illegal.

But, but... New Vegas allows you to bang a robot, a sex robot..a robot made for the purpose of sex. So all that stuff you mentioned is actually OK because New Vegas does the EXACT same thing, right? And Fallout 2 you bang a super mutant and find a gag in your inventory afterwards. Completely the same thing, definitely. You Frontier haters just can't grasp that the mod authors brought you the DEFINITIVE Fallout experience with this mod. Chris Avellone was the original furry in this series.
