this game is a masterpiece is incredible the stories witthin this amazing ambientation, this is so much better than a game in the space that is not very original and it is pretty generic, please instead of it, obsidian and bethesda now belong to microsoft, stop making space games like starfill and outer wolrds, i can tell you a fallout new vegas 2 is gonna sell MUCH MORE than that generic ambientation

This is a 6 at best in comparison to other cRPG that Obsidian traditionally made and tries to emulate on this.

Play better (real) RPG made by Obsidian: Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2.

That's fair, I'm not saying that the game is 10/10. It's a good RPG, with great RPG *mechanics* that deserved a better world and storytelling. TOW1 had potential but that's it, but then again, for Arcanum fans or many other who enjoys Tim Cain style of RPG writing, it's fantastic.

IMO Tim Cain is good at making worlds but not great at writing stories.
Outer worlds was so painfully mediocre. I got 90% done and never finished. Tried a new game recently and basically quit halfway through the first planet.

Don't know what it is about it, while it's probably the most polished Obsidian game, I just can't do it.

He realized that himself, he even go on saying years before TOW released that he'd probably hired someone elses to write the game while he program.

However, for those who enjoy his style of writing, the game is a treat.

But the fact remains, the stone has been set, TOW is a fantastic setting begging for fantastic writer to expand the world.

the sthetic look so ugly and generic to me, the universe look so standard, i have tried playing this in gamepass and i couldnt get into it. Skyrim is a great game, probably overrated but still even with barely choices so much interesting things to do, shallow as rpg but still a great game. I was thinking about playing to pillars of eternity but the medeval age again it is not very interesting for me

It's not the only game Obsidian has ever released. NV wasn't even their best product, it's Pillars of Eternity series.

Also, it's not surprising that it doesn't excite non-RPG player. The game is first and foremost an RPG, not just FPS with good writing like New Vegas.
