Places to store items/gear?

Whats the Safest place / near a good store i can sell too/keep items near by.

Im friendly with all the factions i met besides legion and powder gang there set to mixed atm. i dont wanna use the safe houses even if i can safely put items at NCR safe house, Brother hood, etc just due to them being so far away to fast travel / over weight carry.

Early-mid: the dumpsters outside Chet's store in Goodsprings. Once reaching Vegas: the garbage can right outside New Vegas Medical Clinic. The shack in Goodspring, and the lone wolf shack.

Near a good store? Novac hotel room, easily, just quickly do Boone's quest. I do most of my selling to Cliff Briscoe as his discount lets you sell items at full value, and he stocks a lot of caps.

My memory might be faulty here. But, aren't the courrier mail boxes the interdimensional storage space in this game?

Sorry if im confusing stuff, I dont usually store stuff in New Vegas.

The best place for storage is the trashcan by the gun runners stall. It has a fast travel marker that doesn't require loading a separate cell, and it's literally right next to the best vendor in the game, which allows you to not have to move basically at all over-encumbered to sell equipment from it.

Fallout enderchest lore. Yes they do work like that, you have to activate them first though

Im kind of kidding with the interdimensional thing :P. But, yeah, it's the mailbox you gotta activate. But, they are a bit everywhere so it shouldnt be much of an issue to find one nearby your safehouse.

Almost anywhere is safe to store items there's only a few containers that respawn in the game you can find here:

Hi, sorry im new first play.

So just for an easy place to keep stuff i should do the gun runners dented garbage can right by the computer / robot shop keeper?

Im curious would my items get looted / deleted? i only keep clothing, weaps and rares items.

Both boone and my robot head thing are always walking around full. id sell items but everything had names like "pushy, oh baby, pew pew, etc etc" so im just hording those ones but selling the normal guns like 9mms, ncr rifles and bland melees.

Just looking for a safe place nearing a npc so i can fast travel from caves or or areas iv cleared bank the items i wanna look at later / repair and quickly sell garbage.

It’s 100% safe, most containers in the game are from resets. I’ve used it for 10s of thousands of hours, on Xbox, ps3, and PC and never once had any NPCs like Isaac or the fiend nearby take any of the items.
