4K doesn't work.

I have no idea what's going on.
I've got 4k panels, I go back to play it, and I'm stuck at 3-4fps.
I shouldn't be getting 15x on cyberpunk 2077 maxed at 4K, then I am on New Vegas.
CPU: 7950x, GPU: 7900XTX
This game crashes enough to be a joke, but literally can't even perform for me at 4k, with high end hardware.
Any suggestions before I just delete this game forever?

Its a fact that older games will more often have problems on modern systems. Thats because they arent made for these systems.

IDK if this will help since you got banned now but you can run your game in compatibility mode if you are on windows 11 or you can run as admin from the .exe in the file explorer. I would also advise to launch the game and see if your settings from the launcher are up to par for what you are doing.

I have a 6750 xt with a 3800xt and I have a weird bug where I must run the game with amd overlay on. You know how you can put your gpu stats on screen so you can view them in game using amd adrenaline? For some reason putting up that overlay boosts my fps to what seems like normal.
Without the overlay its like my PC forgets I'm running the game, and fps drops.
Complain on AMD's youtube channel. AMD would probably fix this, they're doing much better these days with drivers.
There may be a fix, but if you don't have the patience than FNV isn't 4 u because this game's a 'B' to mod n fix, BUT its possible.

I ended up just running some bug fix and performance mods. I heavily regret going AMD for this first time. so many issues I never had running Nvidia.

Were not telling you to get a worse computer, i stated having a really good modern computer doesnt make it easier to run old games.

The first game I modded is FNV too, but I only used the 4GB Patcher & NVAC.
Happy to know the game works for you, FNV is a fantastic modern Fallout game!
