These are some of the most notorious cases where us Fallout fans have been called toxic, and yes this is toxic behavior. But there's one common theme in all these cases.

The ones doing it are classic Fallout and Fallout New Vegas fans.

For the sake of fairness, there is a small but vocal faction of players who engage in PK'ing

But in terms of sheer toxic behavior, Classic and Fallout New Vegas fans tend to engage in that behavior the most. Not that hard to understand, people don't like change and are idiots

Not all, but most of them. It's always the same "Bethesda bad, Obsidian good" comments that get regurgitated over again over. And it's fine to criticize Bethesda. But what the fanboys do is more than that. They don't even accept anything positive about the other Fallout games arnd they resort to taunting the devs and bullying anyone who likes Fallout 3,4, or 76

also you need to see it from their perspective (the nma perspective), fallout 1 and 2 is fallout to them so what fallout 3, 4 and 76 are is just an imitation in their eyes and not a proper fallout title.

And let's not forget that Bethesda completely changed the ending of fallout 3 and a dlc to address it because of people crying that they can't continue playing after its over.

Fallout's 3, 4 and 76 have forgotten what they were meant to be. And that was proper post nuclear RPG'S. The shooting mechanics and such for 4 was nice but they had completely forgot to add in those classic skills and player choice that made both Fallout 1&2 and New Vegas amazing games to play through. It wasn't that bad for F3 but it was clear that they were lacking in the roleplaying and introduced lore breaking ♥♥♥♥ that's still messing with the canon to this day like Mutants and Death Claws being in the Capital Waste even though Tim Cain said that the FEV virus was only meant to be localized to California and DC looking like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ desert for no reason.
