Play as a melee-based character who relies on the strength and durability of their armor and weaponry, super easy to do.
There's drill instructors threatening to throw children off of cliffs just for being too slow. Someone needing to wear glasses to see stuff would be viewed as inferior at minimum(more likely they would be viewed as deserving of death)
Its a cool/underrated perk imo, but Caesar is garbage so yeah
My first Legion build was explosives-based, which can be good for Arizona Killer since you can get the C4 to plant on the vertibird with an Explosives dialogue check.
"Never gets old when something blows up!"
Even if one has better vision when wearing glasses, Legion doctrine would treat that as indicative of inferiority/sign of weakness because the glasses are a requirement
Also doctrine states that additional equipment is only given to those who succeed in combat without any additional equipment (which means its highly unlikely any of the Legionaries who do wear sunglasses are wearing them because they have worse vision without them)
I get what you're saying, but since a female Courier can complete a Legion run, they already bend the rules for her. I was just mentioning that aesthetically, you could use sunglasses and get the edge from the trait. But your reasoning is valid too!
I plan on joining the legion next time as soon as possible but don't wish to spend ages agonising over what my SPECIAL should be. It will be my 3rd run overall; this current one was to reacquaint myself with the game in general.
