NPC's with Varmint Rifles dont have it equiped.
So i just got done modding with the Viva Las Vegas guide and i encountered a problem with some NPC's with Varmint Rifles. Instead of 5.56 they have 22 LR in their inventory. I have a mod that restores cut content, and im guessing because the Varmint Rifle originally was supposed to use 22 LR that the mod swaps out the ammo. When i gave an NPC some 5.56 ammo he immediately equipped his weapon. How do i fix this?

Mojave Raiders and/or Jsawyer Ultimate do that. There should be an optional file that patches them found on either mod pages

As above, known long-term compatibility issue with JSUE and many, many other mods (anything that touches the varmint rifle, basically - also potentially caused by All Weapon Sounds Overhaul, see below).

Easy to patch yourself, just change the ammolist for the weapon. Might be easier to use sawyerbatty FNV since it doesn't ♥♥♥♥ with so much extra stuff, although it's less customizable than JSUE.

Also two quick asides -

Atmospheric Lighting Tweaks and Desert Natural Weathers should be the last things in your LO, ALT before DNW. Remove Clarity - it's overwriting most of the changes from both of those mods and it's redundant when using any other weather mod.

All Weapon Sounds Overhaul is massively incompatible with everything, since it hard edits all the weapons to change the sounds - meaning any other changes are being overwritten (including a lot of what JSUE does). Use AWSOME[www.nexusmods.com] instead - it's scripted. The original AWSO is a product of it's time, and does it's work in the kludgiest way possible.
