UwU[www.nexusmods.com] is what you want.
Thing is, all WMX really does is remove the actual unique effects from unique weapons only to add them back as mods. Everything it adds, it takes away from other places - it's a flawed concept (and a compatability nightmare, as you know) on its face, which is a major reason there aren't really any alternatives.
You're better off just adding more weapons if you want more variety. CFWR as already recommended is a great start, and Another Millenia[www.nexusmods.com] is a great addendum.
DiZco named it that way for that very reason :D
The modding community these days is about 91% memeology and vaguely constructive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Which isn't a bad thing, it keeps modders from getting bored and burnt out.
