raising science
i need to raise my science by 25 to complete the great khans drug run by giving jack some recipes can someone tell me some way to do that without wasting a level for that
i focus on unarmed so i want the unarmed skill they teach you when you finish the mission

If you have the Comprehension perk, find yourself a science skill book and a science skill magazine. That's 20+4 points, so you're only one short, which you can take care of with a dose of mentats, assuming you're not already at 10 INT.

If you don't have Comprehension, skill book + skill magazine gives you 13 points. A followers lab coat gives you 10 points. Now you're two points short, which can again be covered by Mentats, if your INT allows.

The DLC adds some additional quite effective options:

With a high survival skill, black coffee from Honest Hearts can also be a big help as the effect scales with survival. At 100 survival you can get a whopping 12 points from the temporary 6 INT bonus.

The scrubs from the doctors in OWB also provide a decent bonus as they boost both science and INT. The range here is 10-19 points, depending on your INT.

thanks the coffee will be the easiest since i have 80 something that plus one of the other ways should get me there i dont have comprehension

I find science is really worth it to level early on. It allows you to take a great number of shortcuts, gives you more xp from choosing talk options that require it awell as hacking, and allows you to craft some very useful items. Auto-super stimpacks, for example, are really useful since they lack the debuff at the cost of slightly lower healing.
