Help on one for my baby

So I'm in Novac working on the quest Boon gives you, I just got the deed of sale but I can't figure out how to take someone out in front of the dinosaur. There aren't any dialog options and the in game control help doesn't have anything about getting people to follow you.
I do have ED-E as a companion if that makes any differnce.

If I recall there should be an option to ask someone to follow you in which they will agree.

Not sure but possibly since you picked up the item (in your black bars) you should possibly present it to Boone before asking the person in question to follow you since you got the evidence first.

Boone only does the night shift so you have to wait until Boone is on the dinosaur at NIGHT. I made this mistake. Just wait until like 1 in the morning anf take the culprit outside. The option to ask them outside only appears at night when Boone works his shift

While normally he is there from 9pm-9am, he sometimes doesn't make it to the sniper's nest on time (good old random AI bugs). If he isn't up there for any reason you have to wait for him.

Press T and wait a few hours until night. Then ask.

If I recall you have to wait for the person who you expect it to be to be home and after 9pm in the evening. I think then you get the dialog to ask them to follow you. Other than that you need the bill of sale for proof. Boone is a good shot by the way lol.
