Just Got Banned From The Nexus Today! (Something fishy is going on) Nexus should get shut down!

If you can confirm that this mod is still in their servers, then the nexus is truly a shady site, and something fishy is going on over there.

Autumn Lodge by Brendan62 (This mod has copy righted content) and today a friend just confirmed the mod is still up? I'm shocked at their behavior towards mod authors

Today I realize that the nexus truly hates me, for no apparent reason, and want to ruin my hobby and experience in modding. Thank goodness for Steam.

It's true then the nexus is run by evil admins that get away with anything, and ban the best modders and treat their members with contempt. They are not understanding, it's a monopoly. I was also a premium member, but they don't care.

I got banned because a weird admin "Micholav" took down my mod, set me up for the fall. Because a photo I used from the Autumn Lodge by Brendan62 it had a copy righted photo. The funny thing is that the same copy righted photo was in their Autumn Lodge for years, and never got reported. I don't know is this hate crime, are they racist or something? They know I'm not white. Even though I was born in Boston. I'm Puerto Rican & Taino Indian but Americanized & born in Boston. I been modding on that site for 5 years never ran into any issues, until this incident.

I properly asked permission to Brenda62 to upload the picture to my house mod, how was I supposed to know it had copy righted content when I trusted the nexus and it's been uploaded to their server for years.

After I told micholav this, he realized his mistake, but didn't want others to know he made a mistake, so he wasn't a man about it and never adressed the issue.

That's what they do best on the nexus, assume things, jump the gun and screw people over for their amusement. They made me look bad to my fans and to those mods I planned to patch up, never got the chance too, now many people think I was the one that abandoned the mods, when it was the nexus, that set meup.

They set me up to get banned, and didn't care to help. They fail at justice. How is this being fair to mod authors, I had been on the nexus for over 5 years never ran into any problems until this incident. They wrongfully banned me. They make assumptions and it seems they thirst for power, and rule the site with an iron fist.

I think the nexus is a monopoly with ignorant admins & arrogant leaders who get away with anything and do as they please, sad part is they don't have a competition or someone to stand up to them. We need a new leader to take over the Nexus and make a site lke the nexus but with better admins & more lenient rules. They take take things too far take a look at all the people they ban in one day.

I will now be supporting Steam 100% I used to think that Nexus was better, but now, the workshop is the true hero. They are more professional and kind to their mod authors, they don't assume things, and their an overall stable website, unlike the nexus who suffers from mood swings and bipolar admins.

Seems like the nexus is the place to get banned, if your a mod author, tread carefully, the nexus is not a site to build with, I lost 5 years of modding with the nexus. I played by the rules, but they assumed things with me, and didn't even give a chance to explain. It's filled with admins who don't get paid and never do true justice to the site. I used to praise their admins and leader but now, I see it for what it is.

I hope a new genius arises and creates a better site then the nexus, I really hope to see the day that site gets shut down and replaced. I will not longer be supporting the nexus. Even if they accept my unban request, which I sent today. After seeing this, they are ignorant, and I didn't even ask them to return my refund for a premium account they can keep the money.

You have to analyze every single point, and every single possibility. That's what I did, speaking out my mind, on how I feel, after plus 5 years of modding with them, they fail at doing justice.

Steam does a wonderful job and apparently you are very non professional commenting that I'm stupid, and like to keep the golden rule, the law of attraction & keep it professional. I will not disrespect you, I"m a senior in College with manners & class & I'll just avoid you. I'm trying to get a point across, I want someone to rise and create a new site for us modders, an alternative site like the nexus, and being quiet about these things in a corner is not going to achieve that. I'm already speaking with web designers on twitter to aid me with this request, and if not I"ll become rich one day, and I'll study web design and make a better site then the nexus, if nobody ever pulls it off. Nothing is impossible in this life.

I really want to have more options as a modder, smartest thing I did is post this to cause awareness, at the injustice they have in the nexus, for the record it's my last year in College, and I have 3.6 I'm sure to do what I do, it's far from stupid.

So try the Great House Fliggerty if you are not happy with Nexus. The Great House is primarily a Morrowind site but they do host the other TES and FO games. I was/am a Morrowind Modder (under the name Phobos_Jugular) recently side tracked by the quality and creative opportunities in FNV. I suggest you go to Steam's Morrowind Forum and contact a poster (his last post was May 15th) named 'darkelfguy' for more info. I can tell you that the Morrowind bunch and Great House Fliggerty are extremely friendly and supportive.

Listen dude. You're on a Fallout: New Vegas forum whining about being banned from Nexus Mods because of a Skyrim mod. It does not at all line up.

You have two choices:
- Take some responsibility and go talk to the admin who banned your account.
- Suck it up and use another community, or take action and create your own.

If you'd rather whine to strangers on the internet than choose any of those options, then at least choose an appropriate forum to do so in.

I"m serious about building a new website, my uncle own a millions dollar company, in a few years I can host my own website like the nexus @Ladez I'm still new to this site, I was reading another hate speech of a pissed off banned person from the nexus. and I just hit post a new thread. I'm still new to steam. I just made a mistake, that doesn't make me stupid. Still getting used this site, but I'll leave this post here to cause awareness of the shadiness that's going on I told my friends and they are alarmed, and your right about the account closure but still the nexus is not a site to build with, sorry if I offended you in any way. It's not easy to always play by the rules and then get banned because of a shady moderator who does jack for the community. If one of the moderators want to delete this thread, then go ahead and do so, but I'll post this in the Skyrim thread as well. The more people see the injustice and shady business going on in the nexus the better.

Oh they knew my race, by my accent, and my videos, they we're very close, always spying on me and when I posted RGX The Redguard Expansion, they we're seeing all my videos, they knew I wasn't white, micholav and that guy that has a name as vampire whatever love banning people, have an itchy finger for it and love to set people up, after years I think I finally have them figured out, i hope I'm wrong. They don't even get paid, what they don't realize is that they can't stop me. I even got some hate from one of their moderators, some of their moderators wanted to see me fail since day one. I'll still be releasing more mods up, it's from one project to another as modding and crafting music is my hobby that site needs to go. I'm craving for someone to build a better site, and steal all their attention, all those nexonians need to come to the Steam workshop. I left for a year on the nexus and came back yesterday and holy cow Skyrim nexus has gone to ♥♥♥♥, it's even worse then before now, their banning people left to right, seems like their getting so much hate, that their so anal about everything now. I"m afraid Robin can't really keep the site up, I hope something really bad happens to that site, I curse that site.
