Aces in blackjack

In-game Help says "Aces are worth either 1 or 11, whichever is more advantageous."

So let me get this straight. If I have cards like -

7 & Ace = 18

7 & Ace & 4 = ???

- and that ??? should be 12, not 22, since 12 is not yet busted therefore it's an advantage for me.

Right?

Yes. Just like real life.

If you go over 21 when you have an ace in your hand, it'll automatically become a 1 instead of 11.
