Need help with Fallout: New Vegas
Does anyone know to fix Fallout New Vegas crashing instantly when launching with NVSE or new Vegas heap replacer.
I had installed TTW and have being able to play for 17 hours heavily modded but I updated my PC and Fallout New Vegas will no longer launch.

Do you have the 4gb patch? because i recall the viva new vegas guide saying how its not good to launch the game via nvse once you have the 4gb patch, you need to run the game from a certain part of your mod manager.
https://vivanewvegas.github.io/utilities.html
says here, idk if its related to your issue but might be worth looking at

Hmm I recall installing that as well at one point.
The 4 GB patch which supports a couple other programs too and it's a zip file you download from the website.

Make sure you aren't using mods that have issues with TTW -

https://wastelandsurvivalguide.com/

That's the official modded guide. While there are thousands of other mods that also work with TTW, that is the best list of vetted and patched mods that are guaranteed to work without the need for additional manual patching.

That said, if you are on the latest version of Heap Replacer, it does have issues for some people. You may want to roll back to version 3.2. Note that HR, either 4.x or 3.x series cannot be installed via a mod manager - they must be installed manually into the root folder.

Also, JohnnyGuitar and Stewies were recently updated to fix some fairly major crashes. It's worth making sure both of those are up to date - for JG, you will want the latest release from github.

Feel free to ping myself or anyone else in the #modded-help channel on the TTW discord for additional help as needed.

The game crashes with just nvse. (and none of the mods interfere with TTW)

Hit the discord then, a lot of people there are extremely good at live troubleshooting.
