True HDR Output in New Vegas (nVidia only)

PSA - Taking advantage of new nVidia driver features, DXVK, and SK, dedicated flip Wall_SoGB has documented how to get true HDR output (or Windows AutoHDR, if you're into fake post-process HDR) output from Fallout NV.

Note this requires and nVidia GPU, and obviously an HDR monitor.

what is DXVK, half life games just got an update for DXVK 2.0, will it effect low end laptops like mine?

It could. The guide lists requirements and expected outcomes to an extent.

DXVK is a wrapper that changes DirectX function calls to Vulkan, resulting in a speed increase for many users.

The latest nVidia drivers in combination allow flip model rendering, so alt tab works 100% perfectly with proper desktop compositing, no lag, and lower latency. Oh, and HDR output, which actually looks damn good in NV.

Thank you for the info hopefully i can upgrade to a laptop thats at least got a 64bit OS
