Enemies running away
Is this normal? I know back in FO3 some enemies would run away in fear and visibly cower but it doesn't seem like that in this one. The enemies just put away their weapons and then run in the opposite direction of where ever you are without saying a word. I just wanted to know if this is normal.

I think yes, Obsidian slightly tweaked the combat Ai afaik; human enemies (and some animals as well) are more likely to flee if you are stronger than them or they are severely wounded. Although I do think that they normally cower and at least attempt to fight you. Are you using any mods that might influence npc behaviour?

Just redownloaded the game with no mods installed whatsoever. Some enemies do fight me but animals like coyotes the moment I hurt them just sort of run in the opposite direction and the same started happening with a human I fought like the same behavior and everything. No emotion just sort of runs away and it looked kind of odd.

That's kinda odd, normaly they scream something like "this is hopeless", although there still is a chance that this is normal behaviour and they're just not shouting. I just watched a gameplay video of New Vegas which shows a legion soldier fleeing normally, does it look something like this https://youtu.be/pdgttXppo1I?t=45m36s ? Also, do ALL enemies flee or just some?
