If you use mods do you still get achievements?
I know it is a stupid question, but I know nothing about mods.

And where is the best place to get them?

You will still get achievements when using mods, yes.

As for the best place to get them, this[www.nexusmods.com] is probably the best one I can think of.

Thanks a lot!
And does it automatically go into the game? Like if you get a weapon mod is it automatically in your pip-boy inventory?

Any mods you add will likely not add items directly into your inventory, and will either add them to leveled lists, NPC Vendor lists, or just scatter them throughout the wastes. Not 100% sure on that though.

Also, as a start to your modding experience, I'd suggest downloading either NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) or FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) and using them to add the mods you download to the game. They make it a heck of a lot easier to add, delete, and manage the mods you want to use.

Thanks, one more question-

Is there a way to temporarily disable a mod? Or have it just for one save?

You can temporarily disable a mod by unchecking the box next to it in the mod manager. Or it works that way in FOMM anyway. It should be the same for NMM, but as I don't use NMM, I can't speak from experience on it.

I got Fallout Mod Manager, but I can't do anything because of something to do with a crash dump?

What were you trying to do when that occurred?

I clicked on Package Manager and I signed in.

Hm. This may help you with your problem. If it doesn't, you could try Google, or looking on the Nexus page for FOMM to see if they have a solution to the problem.
