Caesar's Legion - Functions like the Mongolian Horde, a massive amalgamation of conquered tribes, not entirely assimilated into the centralized ideology that their leader beholds. Hierarchy of strength, intolerance for those deemed unworthy by Caesar, and bound to slide into ruin once their leader dies. Their rule comes slavery, mysogony, and bloodlines, but with a much, much more civilized wasteland, free of raiders and the drug abuse that enveloped the Mojave.
The NCR and Legion are closely matched in terms of gear, but if you make enemies with the Legion, their assassins are equipped with some of the most valuable equipment in the game.
NCR has better armor.
NCR is supposedly the good guy in this scenario but they're both bad in their ways.
I went with the NCR because they had a few kind people. The Legion makes me sick so I just blow them up with my fat man every time I see them.
Of course you can rule New Vegas alone if you side with Yes Man, but that's not the life of a courier so I didn't side with him.
NCR pays terribly, if at all, but has lots of tiny quests and jobs all over the place.
In any given battle legion vs NCR, the NCR loses. They can't really stand up to them.
Ave, True to Caesar.
