Camp Guardian, cleared out Lakelurks, Pvt. Halford still following me

I went out of the water enterance, talked to him when out of the lake, yet he still follows me. I fast travelled to Mojave Outpost and he is still stuck to me.

I may try an save and redo clearing out the lake lurks, if that doesn't work I'll either let a Legion Assassin party chew him up or kill him myself.

Anyways, anyone run into this issue? If so how did you deal with it?

You need to go back into the cave as it sounds like he's missed the OnEnter trigger boxes placed on the inside of the cave entrances.
He was probably too far away when you left through the underwater exit.

Or you could use these commands, which does exactly the same thing...
