Very New Any Tips?

same title i just bought this game and i installed a bunch of mods my friend showed me, does anyone have any tips for someone new to vegas? i played fallout 4 and also fallout 3 so i am somewhat well versed in the series maybe.
I've researched allot of lore also.
Any tips are welcome.

Lol the sex mods

My tip is: Take it easy, there is a lot of secondary quests and locations, if you only play the main quest you will miss a lot of things

And make a manual save often, the game is very bugged

Yeah. VNV is the best mod list for this game, and check the Mods to Avoid section, some mods could look fine but surely they are outdated and broken

I have no shame :D also i realised the dlc gave me a bunch of gear and weapons so i'm happy for that too.

ill be sure to do the side quests too i did miss allot in fallout 4.

oh ok! also this project nevada thing my friend told me i can have cybernetic augments so i really wanna try it.

do i have any others that are broken? :O maybe i should uninstall some things

I recommend going talking to Sunny Smiles to do her tutorial after that you can do the quest for Trudy or Joe Cobb. Then ask for directions to Primm from Sunny Smiles. There will be another quest in Primm to do and be sure to find the broken eyebot. If you get him fixed he is a great early companion. Travel to Novac after Primm to parts for the robot (if needed). Find a man named Boone in Novac and do his quest. This is what I do at the start of every playthrough.

I’d say to expect the player character mechanics of this game to offer a lot more variety than what 3/4 had

The skill, SPECIAL, and perk checks that are present in the game can open up a lot more unique interactions in different situations than 3 and there’s generally several routes to any given quest as a result

If you’ve played 3 then you probably already got a basic idea of how things work. That said, you can also do the tutorial quest line in Goodsprings to get a pretty good idea of how they work

But....

Most sex mods are broken, poorly made garbage that will eventually break your game.

Side effect of which part of the anatomy designed the mods, honestly.

you already can have sex with benny... dont use mods on your first playtrough

yes but it only goes to black screen i've seen it on youtube! with this mod i actually get to see him doing his business on me, also when he's a follower i can keep doing it, i must keep it. ;--;
