I was laughing so hard tonight while playing,a random NCR mercenary decided to attack me,despite I had a generic armor and an accepted NCR status (just like the rest of the NCR soldiers if I don't wear their faction armor),and ED-E destroyed him.
After that for my long way to Nellis I got assaulted by NCR mercenaries popping out from nowhere every 10-15s after another one was killed lol
I got so many guns,ammo,clothes and they didn't stop spawning until I came back to Goodsprings and equipped an NCR armor.It's honestly the first time that I got something like this after I played for 100+ hours on PS3.They were basically bread for ED-E and I got the exp\item by each of them,if I did continue it I would have got many more caps and levels in 1hour.
Is this normal? Tried to google it and found nothing.

The only NCR mercs i know of are those that try and attack Jacobstown. Might be a mod?

I don't think I have any mod like that but just patches and few gameplay improvements like sprint and faster VATS,basically a RNC mercenary npc at Gibson scrap yard attacked me because I was not wearing NCR armor (I am still confused why they attack me if I am accepted),ED-E killed him and after I started moving to reach Nellis and Helios One I basically got raided by NCR mercenaries that were spawning 1 per time every 10-15s from the death of the last one.
I got many value equipment,exp and caps and they were still spawning until I decided to backout to Goodsprings and wear a NCR armor again.As said it was so funny and I never got anything like this,not even Google had an answer for that.
I gotta see if they still spawn,it's basically a farming lol
