Any Fix For Guns Not Firing Accurately On The First Shot While Using Iron Sights?
I don't mean the accuracy of the iron sights themselves, I mean how sometimes when aiming in the gun won't be centered and the first shot kinda jolts to the center and then after that it's fine. Kinda makes stealth kills infuriating.

Skills too low.
Game aiming is kinda broken, not showing the actual center.
Few other less known stuff

So increasing the guns skill should fix this problem somewhat?

It is not skill issue so don't believe it.

also depends on Perception for overall accuracy and Strength to reduce weapon sway in heavier weapons

Yeah it's definitely not a skill issue, I'm assuming the other people don't know exactly what I'm talking about. My skills are a lot higher now and there's no difference to what I'm talking about.

I'm not talking about weapon sway or the accuracy of the weapon itself.
Salamand3r- 9 AGO 2022 a las 11:19 a. m.
Can you take some video of the issue?
psychotron666420 9 AGO 2022 a las 11:38 a. m.
I know the issue you're talking about, the iron sights themselves will be crooked when you first aim, and after the first shot it will correct itself to the middle of the screen. It seemed to happen more often with energy weapons to me but it's happened to many weapons over the years. I can't remember what the basic fix besides shooting your first shot off, I think maybe opening and closing pip boy might correct it or switching to third person and back again. Try messing around with things like that .

Oh that, now i know what he means. I just fix it by going back out of the iron sights and going in. Or try turning off true ironsights if you like that

dunno if this'll resolve your issue, going from the video demo it looks legit though.

Yes this is the problem exactly. Pretty much why I always do sneak attacks with a scope because it doesn't affect scopes. The fix is to move forward while aiming for a second while standing up (and then crouching again if you are going for stealth kills as moving while aiming while crouched doesn't fix the issue). You need to do it every time you aim with iron sights though, it sucks.

Aiming out and then in doesn't fix the problem, you have to do the fix mentioned above, at least for me but I have done a lot of testing with this. Also not using true iron sights would fix the problem but I love iron sights, plus I play without a crosshair.

I appreciate the help but this isn't the problem I'm having. I do have this setting enabled though in Stewie's Tweaks.

Have you tried using any animation sets for the weapons in question?

Are you saying they could be the problem or they could fix the problem? I'm not, just using the mod that fixes weapon meshes and the weapon retexture project, nothing that modifies their animations.

Here is an example video I made. Should be pretty obvious what the problem is now for people who didn't understand.
