is there a mod that allows more realistic payouts from quests?

i've realized that the rewards for completing some quests are way too ludicrous to be plausible in the wasteland. for example, Mclafferty pays you 250 caps for delivering a piece of paper to a doctor just down the road. this is the wasteland, and it shouldn't be so easy to become so absurdly rich. is there a mod that fixes this?

250 caps is nothing compared to what you get from picking up gear and selling it. Hell, I can get five times that from a single game of caravan with a merchant. If you want it to be harder to become rich, quest rewards aren't your problem.

true, but in the same quest; 500 caps for talking to somebody literally a block away? what about selling useless guns and armor, they'll net you a huge amount of money. even at the beginning of the game, selling the powder gangers loot get's you close to 1500 caps.

Things in the game cost a lot too. To upgrade yourself at the clinic costs 40,000 caps.

Fallout is not Mad Max, as much as the bethesda games will try to say otherwise.

250 caps in vegas is only like two doctor visits or a bottom-tier weapon. A 9mm pistol at full condition is listed as 100 caps.

There is a lot of trade going on in the Fallout universe. 250 caps is literally squat to Crimson Caravans.

250 caps is nothing. If you buy ammo then a few hundred bullets will drain 250 caps on 10 seconds

But to answer your question, no, I don't think such a mod exists. (not that I could find, anyway.)

Go to blood bourne cave and get the chest in there (which requires a key from the campfire to unlock the gate and a high lockpick skill) it has like 7k caps watch out for the legendary night stalker

You're looking for something that really doesn't exist in the series, even in the games ostensibly set in a wasteland.
