FoV slider accomplishes the same thing on a scripted level, and doesn't need to be reset each time you start the game - it also allows easy changes to the PipBoy and viewmodel FoVs, which is actually pretty nifty.
Using any modded animations or any of the FoV changing options in Stewie's Tweaks?
The Tweaks menu has a search function, and can be sorted by category as well as what is currently active.
Yes, it has a ton of options, but they are easy as ♥♥♥♥ to find, and it's the only functioning and safe way to do things like raise the level cap or implement proper WASD in menus.
