Please tell me you are using a mod manager.
I am using a mod manager (vortex), and I removed WMX by selecting remove and delete archive.
Well whatever you did, you didn't actually remove the mod since the esp is still there.
xLODGen reads all the esps to make sure it has all the data it needs to generate LOD. While it may not actually need WMX, it's a definite indication that something is broken.
If it allows you to ignore that error, you should still be able to generate LOD without any actual problems, but you will have errors in your game if you have deleted the WMX files but have the mod enabled.
