TTW & Viva New Vegas
Are they compatible? Any changes I need to make to keep as much Viva New Vegas content as possible? Any guides about this question made?

Thanks!

https://wastelandsurvivalguide.com/ is made for TTW and also tells you how to follow it if you have followed VNV first.

TTW is just a mod that makes Fallout 3 a dlc to Fallout New Vegas.
Should be obvious but ignore this forum stalker who hates VNV for no reason.

i like how your only real complaint about it is that it uses github, and literally nothing else.

OP thought Viva was a mod. OFC Viva will is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guide if their readers think it's a mod.
I don't even hate Viva. it's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guide commented to entertain confused players.

No they didn't think VNV is a mod. Especially since they have followed it already. What kind of logic is this?

Also, by saying it is "just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guide commented to entertain confused players" clearly shows that you don't have anything meaningful to say. What I see is that you are hating on it just because you want to annoy other users that want to help.

This is the official modded guide for TTW, and as BaLuX said, it's easy to follow continuing on from VNV.

He was the confused player (probably the only person in existence who failed at following the step by step guide), that's why he's so angry with it.

I'd like to clarify that I don't think Viva New Vegas is a singular mod, I've already followed the guide and have it on a save right now. All I wanted to know is if I could keep what I installed with it while also using Tale of Two Wastelands.

You need a clean NV install to run the TTW installer - but if you followed VNV and did everything via MO2, you shouldn't have any issues.

Note, you can't play NV saves on a TTW install - too many changes are made.

Best bet is to install TTW to a separate MO2 portable instance.

If I install TTW as a separate MO2, how will I be able to use the VNV mods alongside TTW? Or are you saying that I can simply have both while being safe to switch between the two?

Both. Everything from the VNV install should basically be in the WSG guide for TTW.

Aye, and that's what Corona doesn't understand about why they use Github for all the decent guides - it's a collaborative platform that lets multiple maintainers update it rapidly.

There's nothing else that allows that easily, along with easy rollbacks in case of a mistake and a full archive of all changes made.

I know what I'm talking about. My game doesn't crash anymore.

Get vortex. Install new vegas tick fix, new vegas heap replacer, 4gb aware patch, new vegas anti crash and YUP (yukichigai unofficial patch)

this gives me a good vanilla experience that runs way better and does not crash (for me)
