Permanently stuck in Nipton

If I can even get to load into the game due to infinite loading screens, I head out of Nipton to continue the main story quest and the area doesn't load properly resulting in freezing.

Update: I fixed it by just going into a house nearby and exiting. It refreshed the environment properly that time.

The infinite loading screen can be fixed with a few simple steps (without mods ). 1. Start a new game and create a new character (dont play on it). 2. Load your old save from there.

+1 to this. Had to do it multiple times while playing recently. It just works.

Getting any Bethesda game to work on PC is nightmarish enough already.
