Companion missing

I had boone dismissed to the lucky 38, to get someone else as my companion, tho i needed him for a quest, and i could not find him anywhere in the lucky 38, nor novac, even on the hours he should be there, is there anywhere especific on where he should be??

He could be sleeping, walking around, hidden around the corner, or wearing a mask.
Boone auto-teleports to Lucky 38 after being dismissed.

At the Gun Runners factory, by the vendor theres a computer. Its the Companion Dismissal Terminal. There you can dismiss your companions and they all go to their home location. Use it and then see if Boone is back in Novac.

I have checked all the beds, corners, turned on the flash light and no sign of him

Does it dismiss ALL companions, or just active ones? Bc i used the lucky 38 one and it just dismissed my active ones

But Boone HAS to be active, otherwise hes in the place you sent him to. Which other player houses do you have?

I did mention that i sent him to the lucky 38, however hes not there-- not at the presidential suite at least, where i think he should be. i dont think i have other player houses, unless i have to check hotels and stuff, would those count?

Man its so nice to be able to just fix everything with the console lol, shame ur on XBOX. If he has been sent there then he must be there. If he was somehow still with you, he would show on the map, and the dismissal terminall would have sent him back. Your game is bugged...

Yeah i def do not like the lack of consoles and cheats lol, well, if he was active i would have def know, as i can only have 2 companions, i know for sure i dismissed him for another companion temporaly, tho he dosent show up at all... tho again, if he wasnt active he wouldnt be affected by the terminal, and when you do dismiss it says where the companions are going, maybe my save did a bethesda moment and made him go poof :/// if thats the case (very likely) then i guess thats that
