Yes, the game itself works fine.

A popular mod for improving the game's performance, The Stutter Remover, however doesn't without manual tweaking.

I have 124 hours in this game since installing Win10, have 64 plugins (some script heavy) and haven't experienced a single freeze or crash.

It seems a bit random as many people report that the game runs unstable on their system while for others it runs just fine. I have played around 20 hours (maybe not enough to judge i know)on Windows 10 so far and had no issues at all (vanilla, with dlcs).

I guess there is only one way to find out...

I can play on Win10 without any mods or tweaks.

It "runs" on windows 10 and it CTD on a regular basis. I have no mods and it still CTD. I uninstalled the game.

You uninstalled instead of adding the mods that will make your game stable?

Seems... excessive.
All I can say is the GOG version runs great under Win10.
Just in case...

The GOG version works better because GOG bundled some mods and .ini tweaks with their version. Anyone can do what GOG did, GOG just made it easy for people that can't learn how to mod.

Running NV on Win10 and never had a CTD, so in your case it's proberly hardware related. Got the occasional infinate loading screen though, but that has been a problem since it was released.

It could be only for me, but making a new windows administrator account solved the problem. After making it, you must launch FONV on the new one.

And also I installed all the bug fixing mods like stutter remover and NVAC etc.
