You either do your Credit Check, have High intelligence, buy a Passport for cheap and Mick & Ralph's, help out the Kings (ohno questing :(( ) or you bash a soldiers head in, steal his uniform, disguise yourself as a NCR soldier, then head to Camp McCarren and use the Monorail.
You only went the "moth to lamp" approach running after the questmarker. Explore the wasteland, you'll be surprised how many ways you can go through this game.
My claim was that u will run more frequently into invisible walls than you will ever do in FO3 and that the Lucky 38 tower heavily kills immersion of the world design itself.
If you want to dispute those claims go ahead
but never use "According to Bethesda" without delivering any source.
Cause i lost count how many of our dads worked at Bethesda...
But you'll run more frequently into visible walls in FO3 than invisible ones in New Vegas. Since you're continually forced into things like subways just to get anywhere. FO3's world is very heavily divided into small chunks because they were playing it a little too safe.
But I'm not sure how having a visible appropriate landmark possibly kills immersion. Its quite the opposite.
As I'm sure many would say, that or it's a meme, Fallout 3 is the best game. Personally if you take the time to explore away from the main story the world has a lot to offer. Or if you take the time to talk to the factions they are actually pretty interesting and well thought out. Yes they have you fetch and kill things but really what game doesn't do this in the Fallout series. It's a great game if you give it time and pray it doesn't crash on you after 2hrs of no saves.
Fallout 3 made your choices mean more but Fallout New Vegas is more about the story and factions.
Just block and report the troll like I did, sheesh.
It's not your kind of gameplay? If you don't like it don't play it. Many people do like it, you played it but don't like it therefore move on, find another game. UNLESS maybe you do like and enjoy this game, you enjoy making a melodrama of your SEEMING dislike of it, yet oddly you refuse to forget all about it and move on to something else.
You like it and we know it. Go ahead and KEEP PRETENDING attention SEEKER. YOU LIKE IT! Or like the attention that comes along with complaining about how much you don't like it. Either way you like it.
