Getting power armor training after blowing up the BoS bunker?
Basically I did all of Mr. House's quests and am now about to start all or nothing but I want to use power armour. I have the set but I can't equip it, it says I need power armour training. Can I get the training despite everyone in the enclave being dead or will I just have to get something else?

You can get power armour training from the enclave remnants, so do arcade Gannon's side quest. You also get a much better power armour from that quest too. Don't need brotherhood of steel.

If you've killed both factions, then no.

So I assume you've also killed all the members of the enclave remnants, not just BoS?

In that case, you're gonna need console command to wear power armor. I don't think there's anyone else who can give you power armor training.

Yeah I can't tell from the post if he mistaken the bos with enclave, or he killed both of them. I mean it seems like he'd have to go out of his way to find all the remnants and kill them so I just assumed he called them the enclave.

I just killed every single bos member in the bunker, arcade gannon is waiting in the lucky .38.

I killed everyone in hidden valley, harvested the suits and sold them to Gun Runners, kept one set, so Arcade Gannon and Veronica are alive if that's what you mean (though veronica refuses to become a companion because I wiped out hidden valley.

Ok, thanks.

Powerarmour on Very Hard mode is absolutely pointless anyways.
It's better to be fast and agile and have decent amount of armour, then being a sitting duck in power armour.

I am on normal mode with hardcore enabled.

It's still of limited value, as the additional armour is even less needed.
While still moving far slower...

Bro, that power armour is trash, that's why it doesn't require the training.

Just get the mod that allows you to self-train with a high Science skill.

That's unpowered power armour.
All the servo's removed, leaving just an extremely heavy kit of armour...

All power armor is heavy armor, and by the time I got trained I already had stuff that worked just as well. That's why I give it to a companion and use stealth armor for my guy. Ever worn full battle rattle when it was super hot? Sometimes less is more.

Personally I'm a light armour Courier, it even has the better perks.
My female Courier often just wears Vera's dress ^^'
