In that case, you're gonna need console command to wear power armor. I don't think there's anyone else who can give you power armor training.
Yeah I can't tell from the post if he mistaken the bos with enclave, or he killed both of them. I mean it seems like he'd have to go out of his way to find all the remnants and kill them so I just assumed he called them the enclave.
It's better to be fast and agile and have decent amount of armour, then being a sitting duck in power armour.
It's still of limited value, as the additional armour is even less needed.

Personally I'm a light armour Courier, it even has the better perks.
My female Courier often just wears Vera's dress ^^'
