This was my go to COA mod 'cause I derived more amusement from seeing lead paint-chip eating cultists getting bludgeoned & brained than the fireworks display from the tower. Looked for a TTW updated version only to find it has since been deleted. Made me sad.

Well said, that's exactly right. The original devs would wholeheartedly agree. I appreciate Beth - they made Morrowind, which was a huge part of my teenage years - but strong writing has never been their forte. World building and "telling a story with the environment" is something they do extremely well on the other hand.
Daggerfall must have been a doozy for a first PC game. I just started playing that within the past year; I can't imagine the dual learning curve of figuring out Daggerfall as well as PCs/DOS.
