fatal error hudmainmenu not created

this problem has persisted for days and sometimes i can fix it but its a total ♥♥♥♥ show when it is and if i try to fix that the main menu breaks again, i have tried so many ways to fix anything relating to my mods whether it be other mods or changing files themselves please help ME

ui mods, verify integrity of the game files, its all your mods problems not the actual game

not sure if this is related, but some mods mention they need a UI mod that deals with the scaling and placement of things they add, and on this page of the viva new vegas setup, it shows the 'Darn UI' mod, and another option as two that do, -or have done- that correctly. Might be worth a look.
also read those two mods individual pages/instructions carefully, i believe they have to be manually installed instead of with the mod organizer, so you kinda have to doublecheck to make sure its done 'right' >_<.

Heres the link: https://vivanewvegas.github.io/hud.html its worth following that whole guide to the letter, i was getting 5 fps or less/crash, and it depended on something i forgot to do allll the way at the beginning, when i went through it, but once i did it, it was great.

also i ran accross discussion where some experts were saying sometimes, because of *how* mods get installed (even when done right) the only way to be sure is to nuke it from orbit and start over with a clean install, and follow step by step again. wierd, voodoo magic that is mods :P.

Thanks for giving an answer but What you linked didn't show any fix for the fatal error that I or scamper are having and I'd rather not redownload the whole game and start over

yeah, i hear that >_< hope you find a fix guys! good luck. myself, i have to reinstall vcredist2010 and then restart my pc every time i want to play. and THAT's a new one after 20 years of game bugs. lol. woohoo bethesda! :D peaceout o7

after uninstalling vui+ that error occured. I reinstalled vui+, uninstalled consistent pip boys, and kept opening the game and eventually it worked again. wishing you luck bro
