Every time I go to New Vegas, I lose ALL my weapons, no matter if I have them on me or NOT!!!

Every single time I have a quest in New Vegas in one of the casinos, I lose ALL my weapons. I've tried leaving them all to Boone and leaving him outside the casino with my weapons but still, when I come out, ALL my weapons have been removed from him, including the ones he owns!! I've now even tried leaving all my weapons at home in Goodsprings, going to the casino but just came back and ALL my weapons have again disappeared! I have lost so many hours of gameplay because of this BS, it's unbelievable! Like WTF! I don't even have them on me!!! Boone doesn't have them on him and I've taken ALL his weapons away also. All both of us have is a silenced .22 pistol in case something goes down. Ever since I started the game, it's been doing this to me. I've lost countless weapons just to do quests and advance the story but this is getting ridiculous. This time, they've taken my Q-30 Matter Modulator AND my Gauss - my 2 favorite weapons until now that I play with all the freaking time. I now have to go back, AGAIN, and now everything I just did with Mr. House and all that s***, doesn't count anymore and I WON'T be able to do those quests as my weapons are being stolen from me every single time. I'm sick of that happening, very extremely sick of that!! Since I DON'T want my weapons stolen, I've decided to abandon ALL quests related to New Vegas. Don't know how that will turn out. This is the 1st time I play this game so have no clue how this will impact the game!

I have no idea what causes your problem but you should probably be able to get them back by loading a save before you lost them.

Than avoid those parts until you find a solution.

start by the beginning, you enter a casino and the employee tell you he need to take the weapons away, which is normal. But when you leave they don't re-pop in your inventory?

I think I had this problem before, I remember them being in one of the safes behind the bank counter at Gomorrah, try to either sneak to it or use console commands.

100% it's in Gomorrah. Just TCL behind the cashier's room and grab your stuff. I do it every time I enter because of how often it steals gear.

OK, thanks everybody, I'll check that out! I'll only bring a couple weapons with me and see if they're in Gomorrah but that doesn't solve my problem for when I go to the Lucky 38 Casino or the Tops. Last time I got ALL my weapons stolen was at Lucky 38 and I had left them all at home. I didn't even have them on me! But the game still took ALL my usual weapons away, the ones I carry all the time with me. When I came back from my quest with Dr. House, all those weapons had disappeared. I've lost so many hours of playtime and so many weapons because of this but am not willing to lose my Gauss or my Q-30 Matter Modulator as they are currently my favorite weapons! Plus, I also carry the Lucky, the Euclid C Finder (which is freaking cool), the Flamer, the Maria and others that I'm not willing to sacrifice anymore. I've got many which I just don't wanna freaking lose anymore. Thanks for the help guys, greatly appreciated!

did you tried to speak to the employee taking the weapon? you should be able to ask them back

No, I didn't try that as I DON'T bring ANY weapons with me so they don't have to confiscate anything at all but I will try your trick the same just in case they still took it out of my inventory in Goodsprings to put it in the casino. Thanks.

it's an old game, so there is a huge chance that no matter what you bring, all your weapons may be swapped to the casino stash anyway

If you high enough sneak in the game you can keep your weapons on you and they won;t be taken

Really? I have 81 Sneak, that must be enough. I truly didn't know that. How does it work though? The guy at the door ALWAYS stops us as soon as we get in. Does he simply ignore us or what? I just feel really hesitant to go back there with weapons as I have lost so many but I will take only weapons in my stash that I keep to replenish the weapons I do use and give these tricks you all are suggesting a try. I also saw a video where you can go and get your weapons on site after they've taken them away from you but you gotta be sneaky doin' it. I'm a newbie at this game. It's my son's favorite game and he suggested I try it and so, here I am, lol. I'm also new at shooting games so you can imagine how good I am at that! So, I play with keyboard and mouse now as I am a perfect shot this way and can enjoy the game. Using the controller and I am insecure as hell, get killed easily and get scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as soon as I spot danger. You should've heard me scream when I started this game. No killing skill, no protection and monsters. It's so cool to have people like you in the Steam community to ask help from, don't know what I'd do without you guys, so again, thanks so much for all the insights and tricks, it is really truly appreciated!

there should be an option when you reply saying "<keep holdout weapons>Sure, Here you go"
