why does it keep saying "missing master! check mod load order"

i use vortex to mod fallout new vegas but its started saying "missing master! check mod load order" and i dont know what to do any help would be great

On the launcher, click Data Files.
The master files are .esm files. These are the base game and official DLCs. Check them.
Mods require them. It may be that you don't own the DLC the mod requires, or it's not checked or it's set to load after the mod in the load order.

You have installed a mod that depends upon another mod or DLC that it cannot find, either because you didn't install the required mod or don't own the required DLC. Any decent mod manager should highlight the plugin causing the error.

Thank you. This is the only actual answer I've managed to find and it fixed my crap lol
